An example of a portion of a match code based on the last name of “SMITH” may be “SMTH” so that common alternate spellings such as “SMYTH”, “SMITHE”, and “SMYTHE” would all match each other. Match codes may be based on Name, Company, or, Address data depending on its purpose.
