Policy: MicroZip Data Corp. is in the business of processing customer data and information. We do NOT lease, rent or sell data or information. MicroZip Data Corp. does NOT collect information unless that person or company provides it voluntarily.

MicroZip Data Corp. may have personal information on file regarding payment, cellular and home telephone numbers, which are for the sole purpose of conducting business with that individual and are kept secure. Only our authorized employees have access to such information.

We acknowledge that all data or information in any shape or form whatsoever received by us is the property of the respective owner of the data or information. All reasonable steps will be taken to protect the interests of the owner.

The individual or company providing the data or information to us is assumed to be the owner of the data or information. All reasonable instructions from the owner about processing and use of the data or information will be adhered to.

Archiving of Data: MicroZip Data Corp’s internal procedures and systems are designed to protect all customer information from error, loss and unauthorized access. We keep data and information (purely for reference) for 13 months from completion of processing, and dispose of it in a responsible and ethical way.

Tip of the day

Don’t use a word processor or spreadsheet to maintain your mailing list — use a database program instead.

Word processors or spreadsheets don’t offer the rigidness or consistency your data needs to be useful. You may be able to print a letter or some labels. But, can you sort your addresses by zip code or postal code, last name, company name etc.? A database can.

Don’t set up too many fields for the address block.

You may be unpleasantly surprised when it comes time to print a label or use a window envelope – it might not fit! Try to keep the number of lines for the name and address to 7 or less. The same can be said for field lengths. We suggest keeping address fields up to 50 characters long. If they’re too long, you’ll have trouble. Believe it!
